Swim, fish, nature watch, BBQ and dream all night at the Sugar Creek Lake House.

Look forward to breathtaking sunrises and beautiful sunsets, 50 feet from the lake. Located ten minutes north of Lake Geneva, Sugar Creek Lake House is a year-round lakefront home with 70 feet of frontage on gorgeous Lake Wandawega.

Lake Wandawega is 119 acres--a great place for swimming and fishing. Spend the mornings fishing on the lake. Swim in the afternoon at our Association beach. At night, enjoy the sunset and fire up the BBQ from your massive porch. Don't forget to roast marshmallows and make smores at the fire pit on the lake.

The home has a warm, modern theme. The house has been completely updated with all the creature comforts of home. Two large flat screens and a DVD player, cozy heating, and comfortable air conditioning are some of the many pleasures that await you. Most outlets are equipped with usb plugs.

For best swimming, the beautifully maintained Association public sandy beach is near the Sugar Creek Lake House. As a very popular choice for vacationers looking for time away from the city, the Sugar Creek Lake House soothes the needs of people from all different parts of the world. Because of the proximity to Lake Geneva, a short drive takes you to shops, restaurants, marinas, boating, and more fun!

The Sugar Creek Lake House has been loved for years. A charming cottage, the house is located on a long narrow and partially wooded lot. The house is sunny and bright with Western exposures and has been remodeled with all the comforts of home. Make it a family tradition and come back year after year!

Not what's advertised and dirty

First impressions will always stick and unfortunately that was not the only thing that did. This place looked like it wasn't cleaned it smelled like it was never cleaned. And they charge huge cleaning fee? Interior renovated but I think they forgot to clean HVAC system. Musty smell of mold. Bugs in kitchen cabinets. Stains everywhere. Fingerprints on all mirrors. Bed linens was not convinced were washed. Has a potential but not with current conditions. Also picture of lakefront not accurate. Water lilly overgrown property shoreline. Can't fish or swim of the property.

the condition of the lake was a little surprising. I understand there hasn't been adequate rain recently in the area, but when the locals state "oh, that's a swamp not a lake", was a little disappointing. Thank goodness I left my 17 foot wooden classic at home.

Summer Weekend

Nice, clean place to stay near Lake Geneva. Everything was as pictured and the host had excellent communication. It's close to Elkhorn, which we found a fun place to eat and liked the village. It was nice for a family without the business of downtown Lake Geneva.

Relaxing Stay

There are many great qualities about this lake home! The area is quiet and relaxing, it is a great location! We were able to easily get to many nearby destinations. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and then eating outside overlooking the lake. The beds were comfortable, always a plus! I definitely will come back and will recommend staying here! Thank you for sharing your home!
