Tamarindo Beach is a beautiful beach with amazing waves, sunsets and so much more. Tamarindo is a great town full of things to do, great restaurants, shops, and nightlife. People from all over the world call Tamarindo "home" making it a melting pot of experiences, food, and activities. Tamarindo has something for everyone...from family-friendly restaurants and activities, surf lessons, kayaking, boogie boarding, etc. to great restaurants, bars, and nightlife. There are amazing boutiques, souvenir shopping and great grocery stores, and farmers and night markets. Tamarindo is a great place to take a surf lesson or to hop on a boat for a day of fishing or a sunset Catamaran tour. We even have a skate park and basketball court for those who want something to do in addition to the beach. The Tamarindo Bay offers surf breaks for multiple levels of surfers and calm waters for those who just want to swim and float. The Tamarindo beach is a beautiful beach for walking, playing volleyball, or just sitting and watching the sunset. Just outside of Tamarindo, there are amazing bike trails for mountain bikers, and it's an easy drive to many other amazing beaches. Tamarindo has lodging for everyone's budget - from budget-friendly small units in town to multi-million dollar houses up on the hill with amazing views.

Once in Tamarindo you can rely on the informal taxi service or rent an ATV to move around and discover some amazing beaches 30 minutes away from us.
Surrounding the pool on the terrace level below, sun and shade lounging is afforded in the jasmine-scented garden that is surrounding the pool (with underwater benches) is flanked by the lounge chairs of a jasmine-scented garden and a separate bougainvillea-covered palapa. Underwater benches in the pool offer a particularly appealing viewpoint.

The vaulted-ceilinged indoor living room, furnished in an eclectic style integrating elegant art and antiques with a comfortable upholstered sofa and armchairs, enjoys the same sweeping view as the indoor dining room, which is adjoined by a spacious state-of-the art kitchen appointed with Brazilian marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a gas oven with six burners.

You can hear the surf from each of the ocean-view bedrooms. The luxurious master bedroom, with Juliet balcony, king-sized bed and flat screen TV, adjoins a large master bath where the strata-tiled shower overlooks the ocean view. A spacious dressing area leads to a sixth bedroom/study with views of Playa Tamarindo and Playa Langosta. The lower level of the main house consists of a second living room (with flat screen TV), two bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed and chaise lounge, one with a double bed), a large bath with glass enclosed shower. All rooms are appointed with Travertine floors and Guanacaste hardwood doors and are fully air conditioned.

Wake to birdsong. So far we have counted over ninety species from the terrace. Check the surf. A family of monkeys often grazes in the trees across the road from the house and whales are sometimes sighted passing the point below. There is an apartment over the garage where Juan Carlos, the part-time caretaker lives. He oversees the housekeeping and gardening and reports issues to the office if needed. He is around most evenings and available for emergencies.
