This spacious cottage, built in 1886, is updated with every amenity while maintaining its Victorian charm. Please inquire with owner before requesting a booking.
The gourmet kitchen has vaulted ceilings, skylights, a subzero refrigerator, custom cabinets, a Heartland 6 burner gas stove, and an antique wood table that easily seats 10. The large rooms and generous updated bathrooms make the cottage an easy place for two or three families to share without feeling crowded. Enjoy three queen bedrooms, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a bunk room: The master queen bedroom has a sitting area, flat screen HDTV TV, and full bath (shower stall and original club foot tub). Two additional 2nd floor bedrooms (one queen and one with two twins) share a huge whimsical full bath with skylights (shower stall and claw foot tub). A first floor bedroom also with a queen bed is next to a full bath (tub with shower). The third floor bunk room - always a favorite space - includes a double bed, a bunk bed, three additional twin beds, and a port-a-crib. The third floor also has its own full bath (shower stall). High quality mattresses throughout. The living room area has a flat screen smart HDTV TV, internet (wired and wireless), DVD and VCR. Bead board, refinished pine floors, lovely antiques, hand painted furniture, and joyful wool rugs grace the cottage. Side porches and sunny, spacious interior living spaces cheerfully accommodate visitors. Amenities include a full-size washer and dryer, a generous supply of linens and beach towels, and two water heaters so everyone can count on a hot shower. Many lovely places for entertaining.
