Garden Cottage 62 Nestled beyond the treesThis 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Cottage is the perfect combination of peaceful beachside living. You enter this home through the kitchen, freshly equipped with stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances and a bar top with seating for four. Off of the kitchen, you will find the large dining table and spacious living area, with easy access to the lower screened-in porch and patio with a fenced-in back yard.
The lower screened-in porch houses two lovely rockers, and the patio has an outdoor dining table and gas grill. Also on the first floor, a master suite with a king-size bed and ensuite bath. Finishing off the first floor is a one-car garage, half bath, and laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer. The second floor is home to two guest bedrooms, each with its own private bath and entrance to the upper screened-in porch, where you will find perfect lounging furniture. This Cottage includes 3 hairdryers, 3 adult bikes, a beach umbrella, 6 beach chairs, a beach wagon, and a rolling cooler. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community firepit. DUE TO STORMS THAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BEACH CROSSOVER TO THE OCEAN, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE BEACH ACCESSThe Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn.
