A Great Riverbend Escape has a nature trail 1/4 mile hike to the river to picnic, fish or just watch the world go by to relax--or you can drive to the river. If you are adventurous bring your own kayak/canoe/life vests and drive it to the river to put in and cruise down the scenic Little Tennessee River. This Property is located 3.5 miles from Downtown Franklin and is an official Appalachian Trail-friendly destination. The Franklin area is rich in gems and minerals and is known locally as the "Gem Capital of The World"; gem mine is located 2 miles away. Close to Nantahala Outdoor center for rafting and zip lines. Close to town but feels like you are in the Nantahala National Forest. Fantastic Franklin

The lovely 3-2 house as just perfect for my stay. It was located near my the place I needed to be. The owner was very organized and the house was immaculate. I would highly recommend this home.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed our stay! It was a nice home at an affordable price. As a heads up to future guests, I would like to add that our GPS took us to the wrong location but when we called Cherisse she stayed on the phone with us until we arrived at the right house. If you are staying here, I would definitely recommend following the directions sent via email ahead of time rather than depending on GPS. The GPS took us down a very rough dirt road that did not appear to be the best area to be in. Cherisse checked on us after the arrived to make sure that everything was good and was available when we called the next day to ask a quick question. The only recommendation I would make would be to add Wi-Fi service. We appreciated that we were not charged a cleaning fee. Thanks Cherisse for opening your home to us!

Cherisse has a beautiful cabin. Always well stocked. We enjoy our stay there as always. Couldn’t find a better host. Top notch

Centrally located

The house looked small from the outside but was impressed with the inside. We were there to hike on the Appalachian Trail and this house was located just a little away from what i wanted but it worked out ok. We didn't spend any time outside since it was cold but the location was quiet. Overall it was a great stay.
