Go fishing, golfing, swimming, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, or take a ferry from Fajardo (10-15 minute drive) to one of two islands (Vieques, Culebra) and spend the day snorkeling, scuba diving or sunbathing. Visit the nearby casino or shop in the nearby malls, or just catch a movie. Don't forget to spend the day sightseeing or shopping in San Juan.

If you like nature trails spend the day hiking the rain forest (El Yunque). You will find water falls with swimming holes to refresh yourself.
There is a natural bio-tour reserve a few minutes south where you can kayak in brackish creeks which lead to the ocean. There you'll find many types of birds and iguanas in this Humacao Wildlife Refuge and don't forget to visit the Ceiba Forest which is just a few minutes north and see the mangroves and manatees.
