There's also a community pool and tennis courts. Stroll to the soundside dock to watch the sunset, or let the kids go crabbing. Downtown Duck is a short walk away. Enjoy the many quaint shops, grab a meal at one of the great restaurants, or take in a concert at the park. Your vacation awaits you!

Great Location - Needs Updating Though

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself has great proximity to the beach and community pool. The property could use some upgrading. The furniture is quite dated and our bed on the top level was extremely uncomfortable. My teenagers witnessed a rat running on the roof then along the top deck, while watching the sunset one evening. One of the bedroom door handles and the oven door handle were extremely loose and needed to be tightened (thankfully my spouse is handy and didn’t mind fixing those things while on vacation). The top level gets extremely warm and there are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Upon arrival, the dishwasher was still running from the prior guest so we got stuck unloading a full dishwasher due to the prior guests not reading departure instructions. We had to inquire about a missing grill that was supposed to be included with our rental (quick response, one was delivered the next day). All in all, we would stay at this property again but it wouldn’t be our first choice.

Nice week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was clean and had all we needed. Very comfortable and great access to beach and stores. Weather ended up great so all good on that front. We especially liked being able to walk back to the house in 5 minutes which was super since we had a baby with us

Interior of house smells awful

The interior of the house smells intensely of urine. The carpet was shampooed during our stay but did not help at all. This house also needs a lot of updates and improvements. The Tuckahoe neighborhood is great but we would not recommend this house.

The house has a nice location that allowed us to access the ocean and the bay. The house is clean and simple and it met all of our needs for a nice beach vacation.
