Kid Friendly:: Giants Neck Beach is a summer and winter paradise for kids of all ages! (2) safe private beaches. One beach has a large sand bar at low tide and the other has a raft to swim to. Beach Association play-scape. Clay Tennis court/pickle-ball (additional fee) next to the club house. Kids activities throughout the summer including: Arts and Crafts , July 4th Bike Parade, Movie Nights in the Club House, Kids Bingo, Tennis and Swimming lessons, Ice Cream Party, Scavenger Hunts etc. Islands, sand dunes and marshes to explore. Rocky Neck State Park adjoins "Giants Neck Beach Association" and has a board walk and miles of trails for biking and hiking. Very nearby to mini-golf, restaurants, Mystic Seaport, Essex Steam Train and Riverboat, Children's Museum.
Very Safe and quiet retreat. Huge outdoor shower!

Casinos: Two of the worlds largest casinos, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods are 20 and 30 minutes away.

Nice little house tucked away at Giant Neck Beach area in Niantic CT

Cute little house tucked away at Giant Neck Beach area in Niantic CT. With a few minute walk you can be at the private beach area. House was clean,overall a positive 1st time experience with renting a house on VRBO. The only negative would be no linens included as it was just a pain to pack bed sheets and towels in our luggage as it added weight to our checked bags since we were traveling by air. But if we ever travel by car packing linens wouldn't be such a headache I would come back to this house as it was perfect for what we needed.

Outstanding!

This is our second year to rent the beach cottage. Our three week stay was perfect! Kevin is great to communicate with! We can’t say enough about the house, the kitchen has everything you need, the washer and dryer are outstanding. Each bedroom has its own window unit that keeps the whole house cool even in 90 degree weather. The large porch with seating and a table and chairs with umbrella is a perfect place to enjoy the view of the ocean and hang out with friends. We loved the outdoor shower and the fact that there are 11/2 baths was so convenient as we had three girls and two adults. This is an amazing beach community with two beach’s that are extremely short walks. Everyone is so kind and welcoming! Book your stay today you definitely will not be disappointed!

Fully equipped, bedroom A/C does cool entire house even when it's 90 degrees, short walk to the beach, recent upgrades improved interior appearance, property manager responded quickly to questions, queen bedroom has own bathroom

Amazing location!

We've rented for maybe 4 yrs now from Kevin and continue to go back each year. THe cottage had some new upgrades this year like new paint, flooring and bathroom vanities and toilets. The location is perfect for young kids because you can walk to at least 3 beaches that are all fun and different. The outdoor shower is awesome and the BIG new TV was an awesome surprise. My only issue was the very bright back room where we slept, would love some more coverage or darker shades since the sun comes up there. Kevin is fantastic and always responsive. Thank you for a great stay!
