Terrific location here at Glaciers Reach! Located in beautiful complex directly across the street from the Marketplace IGA mall. On free shuttle route to gondola, and steps away from the Whistler Village stroll, restaurants, shops and night life in Whistler Village. This is a one level ground floor unit. Quiet section of the complex. Comfortable bright living room with gas fireplace and modern new furnishings. The new sofa converts to Queen sofa bed

- Master Bedroom: Queen bed, plenty of storage. Private patio

- Additional 2 guests sleep in the living room sofa converts to queen sofa bed.

- Living Space: Spacious living room with pull out sofa bed, gas fireplace, and comfortable decor throughout. Dining table for 4, fully equipped kitchen, full size stackable laundry and 4 piece bathroom.

Good pick
The unit was clean and ready to use when I arrived, everything worked fine in terms of the heat, hot water, kitchen appliances etc. Underground parking was easy as was a convenient loading/unloading place close to the condo. The spa facility was wonderful - water temp in the hot tub was perfect and it was easy to access. The staff were friendly and cooperative when I locked my garage access in my car on the first night. The bedroom was adequately sized and had a nice chest of drawers for ski stuff. Best of all it was easy to walk my dogs with very convenient access to doggie toilet areas, and a fairly out of the way sidewalk/path where I could walk them without encountering a lot of people. All in all it was a good choice and I will probably try to rent it again when I return to Whistler.

Disappointing
We stayed in late July, on arriving there were several issues with the unit. Both lamps in the living room were broken, they still lit up but were badly damaged by other renters and looked tacky (plus I didn't want to be blamed for breaking them!). There were several large stains on the carpets throughout and the whole place smelled like a wet dog. It is nice they allow pets but should clean accordingly. It was quite warm during our visit and there is only one window in the main living area but it did not have a screen which meant having it open also allowed bugs in but it was too hot not to have it open, luckily we didn't get many bugs inside. The place looked clean enough on first glance but there were several spots that were not clean like the toilet rim, lower kitchen cabinets, the dining table, and there was dog hair on the couch. We did contact the property manager about our concerns and he sent over a handyman right away who was nice but there wasn't really anything he could do to improve our stay. Nothing was critically bad but I was really let down considering the other good reviews. Not sure if they had someone in recently who was rough on the place or what. The location was good, close to the village but tucked away against a green belt so it was more peaceful and quiet.

great updated unit
We've stayed in this complex before, different unit, and we like the location. It's just enough far away but close enough to walk. We had a few concerns that the manager took care of very quickly.
