You are invited to the most beautiful and serene destination in Baja California, Mexico. This home is located in Founders Village just a few miles south of the historic town of Loreto and just a few steps away from the sandy beach of Loreto Bay.
All rooms have heating, air-conditioning and ceiling fan. Upon arriving enter our home to a private interior courtyard with water fountain feature; enjoy your morning coffee or tea under the covered patio. Open one of the three sets of French doors to the fully equipped kitchen, dining room which seats six, family room smart TV, couch and love seat, computer desk and WiFi.
From the third level view tower enjoy breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de las Gigantes mountain range. If you are a stargazer you will just want to lay out all night and look up at the sky. The clear dark skies illuminate so many stars it is an incredible site. In the day stroll through these Village homes and admire the beautiful exotic landscaping and water fountains.
Lastly, if you can make the effort to get up early you will not be disappointed to observe the morning sunrises. Walk the beach and enjoy the tranquil waters. We have seen some amazing ocean life here.
There is a swimming pool with Jacuzzi and a lap pool in the Founders Village area exclusively for Loreto Bay homeowners and guests.
Nearby you can find a small grocery store, a Wine Bar owned, a coffee shop, a tour company where you can book a hiking trip, scuba diving, fishing, a trip to one of the picturesque islands, see cave paintings or rent a bike or ATV.
The town of Loreto is unique in the fact that it is a small fishing town with lots of history. It has been a well-kept secret for many years and when you visit you feel like you have stepped back in time. The pace of life is nice and slow and relaxing just what you want when on vacation. Taking the time in the day to appreciate life. There is plenty of shopping and excellent dining to be done in the cobblestone streets of Loreto and a visit to its famous Mission established in 1697 is a must. Jacques Cousteau called the Sea of Cortez 'The worlds Aquarium’. The New York Times listed Loreto #8 on their list of places to visit worldwide.
There are numerous activities including world class sport fishing, whale watching, Glass bottom boat rides, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, biking, hiking and a stunning 18 hole golf course that wraps itself around Loreto Bay. Loreto has its own international airport with regular flights to and from the USA. The airport is located only a few miles from Loreto Bay. There are plenty of taxis or rental car agencies to assist you with your travel needs. Security is there 24/7
