The East Wing Apartment in the Oldest Queen Anne Victorian home in Long Beach. We call this 'wing' of the house 'Sea La Vie'. It has two bedrooms (sleeps four) with a full service kitchen, air conditioning. Wifi ready. FIOS cable television and flat screen TVs with numerous movie and sport channels. Private patio and secure, gated 3 car parking area. Four miles from the convention center.

Public transportation stop in front of the residence. Golf course across the street, Belmont Shore and beach walk ten minutes. Close to upscale shops and restaurants Minutes to downtown and Catalina port. A short 4 mile drive or bus ride to the Long Beach Convention Center. The perfect honeymoon hideaway.

Really Beautiful and Comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Dan is an uber-attentive host. He even brought over a christmas tree with ornaments for us for the holidays! Great location, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom tub(!), outside patio with grills, parking… the list is long, but to sum it up, we would love to come back. This VRBO really exceeded our expectations. Thanks Dan!

Historical gem right next to lagoon

Enjoyed staying in Dan's funky home - it was great to be so close to the lagoon. Close to the beach and wonderful neighborhood to cruise around in. Dan is a lovely man as well, incredibly friendly and fun to talk to.

Cute place to stay

I stayed for a few weeks with my cat working remote. The internet speeds were good. My cat enjoyed the yard. The nautical theme was cute, and not overbearing.

Long Beach Stay

We were in the area for work and found this gem. We worried about privacy, but it turned out to be a non issue. Dan was awesome and took care of any needs we may have had. Stayed with our two dogs, great walking areas near by. Also has restaurants within walking distance. Our stay was over 4 months and we enjoyed it!

Our home has been a work in progress since we bought it. It was built in 1884 by the Long Beach City founders, the Bixby Family, and is the oldest house in Long Beach. The history of the house and previous owners is like a storybook. There have even been tales of friendly ghosts.

The property has a rural atmosphere but is close to all activities, shopping, Conventions, the beach, sailing, swimming, golf, dining and night life.
