Let "Freshwater Cove" be your next vacation destination! This two-bedroom condo is located in the heart of Harbor Village. The indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, and spacious lawn are right outside your door.

"Freshwater Cove" is a wonderfully located condo in Harbor Village. Harbor Village borders the sandy shores of Lake Michigan and features so many fun amenities including an indoor pool and hot tub, seasonal outdoor pool, volleyball court, playgrounds, fire pit, manmade lake for swimming and fishing, and more. The opportunities are endless!

Inside the condo, you will find a spacious master bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en suite bath featuring a large tub and separate glass shower. The guest bedroom also has a queen-size bed. There is a pull out sofa sleeper in the living room as well.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you may need. Other amenities available for your enjoyment include a gas fireplace, wifi, and two private decks. Please note that wireless internet is provided as well as a Smart TV which will allow you to sign in to your streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon TV, etc. There is no basic cable provided at this unit*

The Harbor, indoor/outdoor pools, and spacious side yard are right outside the condo.

THE LOCATION

Enjoy bike rides around Manistee or drive to Onekama along a scenic route with a bike lane the entire way. The Little River Casino is 5 miles away and provides excellent dining, entertainment, and of course, gambling. The nearby Manistee River is great for kayak and canoe trips. Several inland lakes are within 30 minutes for fishing, tubing, or water skiing. For winter lovers, miles of snowmobile trails are in the area, and Caberfae and Crystal Mountain ski resorts are within 30 minutes.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Our cancellation policy is as follows:
-100% refund (minus a VRBO service fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
-50% refund (minus a VRBO service fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
-No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before the reservation date.

There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

MANAGEMENT

This property is managed locally by BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI. We provide professionally laundered linens, bath and beach towels, a starter supply of paper and cleaning products and after hours emergency maintenance services. That unit itself is actually nice. It has everything you may need, including washer and dryer. Great location to beach and downtown. But...here is bad part. The owner is NOT actually keeping the unit up. The carpet is filthy. The beds are way over due to be changed out. And so are the sheets and covers. The towels are very old and worn out, some with holes. The furniture is old and very worn out. There is not enough lighting in bedrooms...needs lamps and bedside tables. And, for the love of God, please, please invest in some window coverings, or blinds. Every room has broken blinds and mish mash curtains. Had to put up newspaper in one bedroom so at night you one couldn't see in. It is REALLY BAD. Also, this is the second time in this unit...we stayed here two years ago and gave same review. Nothing has changed. The internet and TV were out for two days until the rental company could get someone out to change the modem. My husband watched his tv on his phone for two days!! The only way I would stay here again is if there were no other place available during time needed. Or if I knew that all updates were done. Sorry, owner, you are just going to screw yourself. Put some money back into this unit, just not into your own pockets.

Great location- terrible upkeep

loved the property and condo itself, but the carpet is filthy, coffee pot had mold, patio also moldy. OLD creepy bedding. Decor and placing needs major word. Foot stool total garbage ... all ripped up. Two lamps that do not work. All blinds are messed up curtain rod falling off the wall in the 2nd room . Coffee pot and iron are not auto shut off very dangerous and should not ne in a rental period. Would love to stay in another well keept unit and would appreciate my cleaning fee retured as I had to bring my own bedding and sanitize the coffee pot, clean the patio and all light fixtures were grosse . Its pretty sad that for the price of rental you can't even make any updates.. Also the inside pool has green bottom and sand in it. Would be excellent if it you cared about your guests at all!

Terrible stay, terrible customer service, terrible condo.

The property is not as described. The shower head in the second bathroom was broken, the mattress in the second bedroom was completely broken and had to be repaired per the maintenance representative, there were stains on the sheets and headboard that appeared to be bodily fluids, and the carpet was sticking up in the living room and second bedroom and was a trip hazard. The living room has marks/holes in the walls and fluid stains, looking like someone ran into the wall and spilled their drink on it. There's a pleather ottoman that was in poor condition. Property management didn't reply to my messages until the day before we had to check out, didn't offer an air mattress, and couldn't guarantee a refund for the cleaning fee, saying it was up to a separate company to handle. In addition, it took almost three weeks to receive a refund. There was also no pool fob provided, which was supposed to be included in our stay. I normally don't leave bad reviews, but the customer service was so terrible (talked to almost 10 different people over the course of 3 days), the condo was filthy, I had terrible sleep the entire stay along with back and neck pain, and they did not attempt to fully refund me for my stay. I only received a partial refund. I would never go back.

Manistee 2 bedroom condo

The unit really is very nice and clean. Everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Great location to everything, including the beach. Also, first floor so that helps with luggage and groceries. But....a few comments that I would suggest to the owner. Please invest in some quality and nice window coverings. Aside from all being a mish mosh of coverings now, they really darkened the unit. And, half of them are broke. It takes away from how nice the unit is. Also, new mattresses are in desperate need of replacement. They are sagging terribly. Also, the last day of our stay the TV and cable went out. Husband enjoys watching news and tv at the end of the day.
