Modern Luxury Studio Suite - Steps To Beach & Short Walk to Town

A beautifully appointed studio apartment with private patio and pool located in a small development within a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Start your day with breakfast on your garden patio. Next, take a swim in the pool or relax under our beautiful guanacaste tree. Plan your day with an activity from your Welcome Book or stroll the beach and explore San Juan del Sur.

The studio boasts a dinning/sitting area with 32" TV. We have a queen bed with pillow top mattress and cable TV and internet are included. Other amenities include ample closet and storage space. There is also a programmable safe for your electronics and valuables.

The property includes a large garden area for relaxing, yoga or hanging out with friends. If the sun gets too hot, you can always retreat to the shaded grotto or take a dip in the pool.

Being this close to town, it isn't necessary to rent a car or 4x4 but street parking is readily available if needed. A note to visitors: you should be aware that many of the properties listed as being in San Juan del Sur are actually located farther out of town on poorly maintained dirt roads that require vehicle rental or dependence on taxis or shuttle services for transportation. Always make sure to clarify your transportation options before renting. The added costs and risks of a rental car can add up quickly.

Amazing hosts, property needs some work

Pros: The property managers are absolutely wonderful and provide all of the information you need. They're available at any hour. They will help you call a taxi or anything you need. They even killed a scorpion for us in the middle of the night. There's also security at night. Cons: It's a taxi ride to town so staying downtown is likely much easier. There isn't coffee in the unit or anywhere nearby. We lost electricity on the second night and had to pack in the morning for a 6-hour shuttle ride. Because we hadn't had any electricity for ac, we didn't sleep. We woke up and had to cross borders and are on a 6-hour ride without coffee. Just having coffee would be a huge improvement since there's none nearby and nothing is open in town when many depart on shuttles. Packing in the dark after seeing scorpions was also pretty scary. Although our trip was hot and coffee-less, I would still give it three stars for the amazingly helpful hosts. The unit is also very cute and the one night we had A/C it worked well. Our long , sleepless, hot night followed by a long, hungry, coffee-less shuttle to CR made for a rough day overall. I think for a longer trip where you can go to the grocery store this place would be very nice. Maybe for 2-4 day trips, stay in a hotel in the city center :) The pool is lovely for a longer trip and a family.

My wife and I first bought property in San Juan del Sur in 2011. After a few years of 2-3 week vacations we started asking ourselves why we couldn't do this all the time. Finally, in 2015 we came up with the answer "por que no" and became permanent residents of SJDS. During our time as distance owners we tried out several different property managers. Some were really good and some were not so good but we learned from all of them. Now we are happy to share this experience with you, our guest, as we strive to provide a truly exceptional vacation rental experience.

Location, location, location. Nestled in secluded Barrio Talanguera at the north end of San Juan del Sur beach, you couldn't be better situated. The studio is 2 minutes from the beach and only a 12 minute stroll from all that San Juan del Sur has to offer. Close enough to be part of the action but far enough away for a good nights sleep. Talanguera is also one of the safest barios in SJDS with paved streets and plenty of street lamps to light your way home.

Talanguera Townhomes has one of the most beautiful garden areas in all of San Juan del Sur. We know you will be spending most of your time out and about but, when you do find your way home, why wouldn't you want something nice to look at. Manicured lawns, luscious vegetation and even an herb garden are all waiting for you when you return. Standing high above it all is our beautiful guanacaste tree that helps keep the afternoon sun at bay. You simply won't find anything like this anywhere else in San Juan del Sur.
