We are Ian and Deb and live in Gloucester with our two (now grown up) children; Lucy and James, and our dog, Rosie. We fell in love with Turkey on our first visit there in 2008 and bought our villa in Akbuk in 2009. We know how important a family holiday is, and believe the villa and Akbuk has everything that you will need to have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

We love Akbuk because it has everything that we need for a wonderfully relaxing break. The villa has stunning views over Akbuk bay to the front and mountain views to the back. Akbuk is very picturesque with a small harbour where there are some excellent restaurants that are really good value for money. There is not much better in life than sitting on the rooftop sun terrace with a glass of wine or a bottle of Efes and watching the sun go down over the Aegean sea or having a lazy lie in, not having to worry about finding a sunbed near the pool! The villa is a real home from home where you can relax and have a fantastic holiday. The villa is spacious and detached so there are plenty of rooms and balconies to escape to for some peace and quiet! The large pool is literally on your door step and there are other pools on the complex that you can also use or you can take a short stroll and swim in the beautiful Aegean sea. The villa is perfect for either a family or couples holidaying together and has everything that you need to eat alfresco or you may prefer to eat at one of the nearby restaurants. Everything is within walking distance on flat terrain so there is no need to hire a car unless you want to visit one of the local attractions, Bodrum and Ephesus are favourites of ours.
