This second (top) floor luxurious, open and spacious beach-rustic Santa Monica loft is cool, cozy and well appointed. With 17 foot high ceilings at living area, wood floors throughout, modern furnishings, mosaic art mixed with rustic and beach design, and endless light, this unique home will truly make your vacation memorable. We just installed brand new air conditioning in the unit (December 2022). There is a unit in each bedroom and one in the loft area which cools the loft and main living space. Each unit has its own remote so you can be using one, two, or all three at a time. These units also work as heaters but we also have a wall unit in the main living area for heating as well. The air conditioning a a huge improvement and a wonderful new addition to the unit.
On the first level, the property features two bedrooms (one on suite master), two full baths, kitchen, dining area, living area and laundry (washer & dryer). Dream sweet dreams on the queen pillow top mattresses wrapped in soft and comfortable sheets and cozy duvets and pillows. A full closet, dresser and bedside table accompany each of the bedrooms. Bathrooms are equipped with cotton towels, custom mosaic tiling, and luxurious shower fixtures. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to be your own chef. Enjoy your home-cooked meal or take-away from any of the many diverse and prestigious local restaurants seated at the cozy dining room which seats 6-8. The open-concept living room features a super comfortable large couch, tucked under stairs and at easy reach are two large bean bags kids and adults can enjoy, a new 52" Sony Bravia flat screen TV with Roku to stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, live stream TV on hulu etc.
The second level features a separate loft overlooking the living space, with a 42" Sony flat screen TV and couch that pulls out into a queen bed. There is also a desk and chair set up for working purposes. The loft leads to your own expansive private roof-deck where you can lounge while enjoying our amazing weather and SM breezes.
Included in the home are high speed Wifi throughout, iron and ironing board, baby items such as a pack n play and high chair can be provided by request.
PARKING: You'll have a dedicated parking space in the underground secure parking garage. I may be able to accommodate two cars in the garage, however this is not guaranteed, so please ask if this is desired upon booking. There is a parking pass in unit to park another car on street 24/7 in front of building, however please read street signs to avoid parking tickets on street cleaning days. Parking is very easy on street and there is always plenty or space anytime of day.
You'll be close to all the Santa Monica attractions with easy access to the 10 and 405 freeways. The property is 10 blocks from the beach and a straight shot down to the famous Shutters and Casa Del Mar hotels. It’s a 15 minute walk to Santa Monica's Main Street, Promenade, Beach, Pier and Downtown Santa Monica. 1.4 miles to Montana Avenue, 2.5 miles to Venice Boardwalk, 3.9 miles to Marina del Rey, 7 miles to The Getty Museum, 7 miles to Beverly Hills, 12 miles to Hollywood, 16 miles to Universal Studios, and 42 miles to Disneyland.
