Almost speechless
Started off we were gave the wrong passcode for the door. Stood outside in the heat with our luggage for over 15 minutes till I finally got in touch with someone. Then after entering the room noticed the bucket under the stove. questioned the owner of the unit about it and was told it was to collect the condensation. Well the “condensation” leak was so bad it ran from the bucket with the hole in it across the floor under the end table and couch. I had to put towels down to collect the water so we would not slip and fall. From eventually put the bathroom trash can in the place of the bucket after the owner told me she would bring another bucket but never did. THEN 2 days later the ceiling with the condensation leak collapsed. I had ceiling all in the floor and the stove and the strongest smell of mold! It was a nightmare. Contacted the owner again and she sent out maintenance. The workers told us the owner would not stop renting out the unit even knowing that the ceiling needed to be replaced. Too bad I can’t add pictures to this because I have them. We couldn’t cook a single thing our entire 5 days there because of drips over the stove, we had to eat out every meal except to make sandwiches. I kept thinking we should have gotten some kind of money back on our stay for all of our troubles but obviously the owner doesn’t think so. Not only that… but the mattresses on the beds were the hardest I have ever slept on. I think it would have been more comfortable to lay a towel down and sleep on the sand.
