Kings Studio - Romantic cosy getaway

Kings Studio is a warm, cozy and romantic hideaway. It is fitted with a new bathroom and kitchenette. Sunshine streams into the room all day long and a warming gas log fire is perfect for those nights when you just want to snuggle in with a glass of wine and a picnic! There is a brand new split cycle system installed to also keep you cool in the hot summer months and warm in winter as well as a cosy gas log fire.

Kings Studio is totally private with its own entrance and is separate from the main house.

We’ve just completed a mini makeover, painted the walls, ceilings and floors and added new furniture, rugs, couch covers, linen and used a neutral colour palette, which we believe will help our guests to really relax and enjoy the time away. Plantation shutters also offer you both privacy and light control. You have your own private deck to sit and enjoy the bird life and the soothing sounds of running water cascading over the river stones.

We can provide a gourmet platter ($100) delivered to your door. Please book in advance as we source local and organic produce (where possible).

If you would like to indulge in a massage, please let us know as we have an in-house massage therapist who will come to the studio for your comfort (you will need to book in advance as she is a busy therapist). Ladies (1 hour) $120, and gents (1 hour) $150 plus relaxing facials $95. Our therapist has 20+ years experience and is Cert IV qualified in deeply therapeutic/remedial/craniotomy sacral and reflexology.

Kings Studio is only 1km to quaint Leura Village with stunning shops, restaurants, bars and transport.

Just as a side note we have now completed our newest and most gorgeous cottage “Sunny Corner”. Please check it out as it has a split level aspect with loft bedroom and ensuite. All photos are online.

Serenity and Comfort

We had an amazing 4 night stay at Kings Studio over Easter. The decor is beautiful in this cosy studio with every little detail thought of, from chocolates, Easter eggs and hot cross buns to thoughtful provisions for breakfast. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed sitting out on the patio, listening to the birds and the stream below. The location is very quiet so our sleep was undisturbed in the very comfortable bed. All in all, a perfect get away and comfortable space in which to celebrate Easter and our 45th wedding anniversary. Thanks Kim and Ian, we'll be back.

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing stay. Such a lovely studio, with beautiful decor and very welcoming as soon as you walk in. Plenty of space for 2 people, even a lovely outdoor area. Very comfy bed, important after a day of walking. We ordered a platter for the first night and it was just amazing - great produce. Easy to find and space to park next to the accommodation. Owners are lovely. Would not hesitate to recommend and I'm sure we will be back.

Charming retreat

Wake up to birdsong and the sounds of a babbling creek luxuriating in a huge bed with crisp cotton sheets. Kim and Ian’s place is a peaceful and charming retreat. Breakfast treats are provided as are all the essentials for a comfy stay. Lovely Leura is a few minutes by car or 20min walk. Perfect choice for our stay in the Blue Mountains.

PERFECT getaway to do nothing!

Kings Cottage is exactly what I was looking for to get away from the city, be in the bush, sitting outdoors to read & relax. I loved that the studio opens up to a patio & there is a creek. The rain was a bonus - I love walking in the rain, all geared up with my raincoat, umbrella & gum boots.
