Walk down to the water and experience the river for all it has to offer with swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing paddling, and fishing or bring your boat and take advantage of the fully covered boat dock and slip.
If staying on land is more your style you can hang out and play some games in the large, flat backyard or go and check out some of the nearby hiking and climbing. The Pot Point Nature Trail is just 1 mile down the road or head back towards town about 3.5 miles and take a hike up Middle Creek.
Make sure to visit downtown which is only 11 miles from the house and features the Chattanooga Aquarium, Creative Discovery Museum, Chattanooga Lookouts, Historic Bluff View Art District, Hunter Art Museum and numerous excellent restaurants. If you are lucky you might catch one Chattanooga’s many festivals or events which are a weekly occurrence most of the spring, summer and fall. Just a little past downtown on Lookout Mountain you will find Ruby Falls, Rock City, and the Incline Railway.
