Overall, decent place with very friendly staff of site. The unit was very large, and the balcony great. There are some cons however, the area was not super walkable outside the resort gates, and it was difficult to get around without a taxi/Uber. The beach is maintained extremely well, and is beautiful, but you need to leave and stake your spot very early in the morning since cabanas and beach chairs are very limited. The bar near the beach takes care of you are not participating in the all inclusive, but for everything else, you need to get a voucher at the front desk, and then go buy a drink or coffee, which can get annoying.
As for the unit itself, like we said, very large and great balcony, but it is pretty beat up. The towels and the bed linens were musty and very old, and the pillows were lumpy and old. The kitchen was not stocked up on utensils or anything to clean with at all, but the property manager managed to get some items for us the last few days, which was great of her. We also had lots of plumbing problems, as the shower in one of the bathrooms didn’t drain and overflowed, and the toilets were constantly leaking onto the floor. We did bring this to their attention, and they did fix the issue after a few visits.
There are not any curtains in the blue bedroom, so you have no option but to either change with the hurricane shutters or to be in the bathroom.
Overall it was a fun stay with beautiful and friendly staff and beaches, and an incredibly maintained pool. As for the unit itself, after we were able to reach out a few times, they were responsive to improving the unit, but be aware that the unit is just not fully functional and slightly beat up.
Other than that, a fantastic getaway in beautiful Punta Cana!
